[Elijah didn't resist, letting Adam cup his face in his hands, as the ley energy slowly pushed out the nightwash, so he no longer felt like he was being smothered, drowning in his own body. He let him check his face, his eyes, the glowing gold slowly fading down to a pretty green. Not quite normal, but forgivable. They were striking, rather than impossible.

He nodded in agreement to the question. Houston might be thin, but it wasn't dead the way Cambridge was. And the country house, which Elijah retreated to every change he was afforded was on a ley line, vibrant and alive, so that Elijah felt vibrant and alive. I was going to visit my friend, and then I just couldn't-- You've seen it before, haven't you?

[Elijah was still, letting Adam wipe the black streaks from his face. It felt.. intimate in a way he couldn't quite explain. It made his heart race as he looked into the other boy's eyes -- who was gorgeous, a fact that didn't make things easier. He was broad shoulders, with sandy hair, and basically his type, as much as he had one.]
